Energy transition... The Principality of Monaco is committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 in comparison with 1990.
It is funded by part of the State's budgetary surplus and a contribution from electricity consumption. The aim of this funding is to provide the Principality with the financial means for long-term action to achieve its energy transition. The White Paper on Energy Transition is the first stage in involving the Monegasque community.
